    Just 20 miles outside of Washington, D.C., the town of Reston, Virginia is located in northern Fairfax County. Known as the next “up and comer”, Reston hosts approximately 60,000 residences sprawled from notable neighborhoods such as Baron Cameron Avenue, Sunset Hills, and Sunrise Valley.

    Reston is known for its easy commute, diversity, and walkability. It has been ranked as one of the best suburbs of D.C. and one of the top towns in Fairfax County. Fairfax County is also known for hosting one of the best public school systems on the east coast for grades K-12.

    Attractions
    Reston is able to hold their own when it comes to shopping, dining, and other various attractions. While D.C. does assist in providing entertainment, families will rarely have trouble finding things to do within the city’s limits regardless of the season. Reston is known for housing a plethora of shopping and dining from Reston Town Center to a variety of small business boutiques and eateries. Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is also a great place for outdoor adventures hosting shows and concerts in the summer and sledding in the winter!

    Travel
    Reston is also known for easy commutes with connections to major highways, interstates, and public transportation. The town is located right off of Route 7, Dulles Toll Road, and Fairfax County Parkway. Reston is also a short drive to Georgetown Pike and Interstate 495. If you’re in need of public transportation, Reston is also home to its own Metro stop- Reston/Wiehle right off of Silver line. The Metro will also continue to expand further into Reston and Fairfax County, adding 7 more stops by 2025. Two major airports are also located right around the corner with Dulles International Airport (IAD) being a 7 mile drive and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) just 24 miles away.
